Batch 472. Cloudy papaya-mandarin smoothie body, thin, quickly disappearing cream head. Nose surprisingly light, at least initially, mostly mandarins and perfume. Body is straight-up orange creamsicle and excessively sweet, with hops (or merely citrus rind) oiliness around the edges. Tasty but where's the beer?

Pint can thanks to hershiser2! 1/20/21. #5 of my Inauguration beers! This one of course a reference to Karens and their white privilege. The entire series is devoted to those anti-science, anti-vax, Capitol terrorist types. Hazy deep red, large pink head, good retention. Aroma of berry, currant, cranberry, mild vanilla mint. Taste is berry, vanilla, lactose, mint. Medium bodied, moderate tartness. Interesting. Was a little afraid of that combo, but it works.

Panda at home, thanks to SHIG, 07/01/21. Hazed orange with a decent white cap that settles as a swirl. Nose is pissy citric zest, papaya, passionfruit yoghurt, hay bale, lemon zest. Taste comprises tangy tropical fruits, more on the turn passionfruit notes, peach yoghurt, grass, light acidic load. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a balanced puckering climax. Solid juicy 'Linner work offered here!

5/1/2021. Can sample courtesy of SHIG. Pours hazy pale orange gold with a small off-white head. Aroma is herby, lemon tea, touch salty, zesty, hint of sour pineapple. Taste delivers a great hit of sour, with a light salty and herbal edge. Moderate body, average carbonation. Very nicely done.

16oz can. Poured a hued yellow amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was lots of tropical fruits: pineapple, kiwi. Vanilla, creamy peach fuzz. Flavor was similar, sweet lactose sugar, vanilla. Lots of fruit. Perhaps didn't need a high ABV.

Can thanks to MrsSHIG: Poured a hazy bright yellow with white edges. Aroma is tart fruit, juicy lemon citrus. Taste is tart lemon, citrus, some herbal, very mouth puckering but in a good way, grain.

$4.40 pint can, WW. Every time I think the Karen thing has been overplayed I'm reminded that that's not true at all. Pours murky magenta with a soft pink head. Raspberry, currant, green leaf nose.. the slightest hint of hint in the ass end. Raspberry, currant, mint, lactose... not specifically getting the vanilla. Green leaf. The mint is very fresh and very subdued. Like taking a bit of a single leaf. Tart, not sour, but probably enough to give me acid reflux in 6 hours. That's fine, I'm on vacation...
