Sample at the brewpub. The beer is a clear reddish-amber color with a compact off-white head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. The aroma is malty and nutty. Medium body with a malty character accented by caramel and hops. The finish is sweet malt at first but leaves a mildly hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Sample at the brewpub. This beer is a clear orange color with a thin off-white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Wheaty aroma with a touch of black cherry. Light body with mild wheat and cherry flavors. The finish is clean and fruity with a short cherry aftertaste. Below average overall.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear yellow-gold color with a thin and fizzy white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing. Faint malt and grassy hops in the nose. Light body with moderate carbonation and mild malt and hops flavors. The finish is clean and sweet with a touch of soap amid the malty aftertaste. Average all around.

Found at the Wine Vault in Dublin, OH. This brewer is out of business so my sample is a little old. Pours a really pretty dark brownish red color with a medium and lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and fruit. Unfortunately the flavor suffered from age. The malt flavor was overpowered by a sour taste and I could not finish it. This was probably a lot better fresh.
