Bottle pours a slightly hazy light orange. Very large frothy slightly off-white head. Clumpy sticky coarse lacing from the receding behemoth. Aroma is like an old barn. Some sour woody notes. Hops are evident but not prominant. Flavor is sharp and hoppy but a harsh bittness with little flavor. Fairly full palette but that woody cardboard things keeps coming back. Another dissapointing IPA. Where is my Stone or Diamond Knot when I need them....

A nice red amber color with a thin white head. looks like a Christmas ale, but its weak fruity aroma and sweet cranberry taste left me looking for some pumpkin ale.

Bottled. Hazy amber. Sweetish aroma of lingonberries or cranberries. Fairly sweet with dense mouthfeel. The berries are accompanied by some roasty malt. Salty finish with low-medium bitterness. A quite enjoyable straightforward beer.

Unimpressive hoppy aroma. Some floral and spice hints, and some buttered scones. Medium hop flavors are perfumy, with a fair caramel malt body. Thereβs a weird husky quality to the palate, drying around the edges of the mouth, almost chalky in mouthfeel. Minerally. Really a pale ale, or at least an 1990βs era British style IPA. Hazy amber color with a decent head and fair lacing.

Bottle. Orangy amber in color with a small head. Smells of malts and hops... flavor is too malty for an IPA, in my opinion. Does have a bitter hop finish, but not balanced nicely.

Bottled@SBWF2009. Quite much as the rating above, but also being very sticky sweet which I didnβt like too much. 6 4 6 3 12.
