Big brown head collapsed quickly, nice chocolate malt in nose, but a bit thin in the mouth...nothing special compared to other porters i tasted in Northern CA.

Orange to light amber color. Classic IPA; aroma not enough complex; dry taste, also with some caramel. Hides well the alcohol content.

Good colour and a nice smell, but not too overwhelming. To go against the label, the beer isn't very hoppy,and sure doesn't please the hop desire by myself!

Decent colour, not better than any other APA i've ever had...fairly light in colour compared to those. Decent taste, but not much of an APA...more of a normal ale.

Dark brown colour, but not opaque. Good malty smell and a nice feel in the mouth. One of the better beers in the six pack from Butte Creek.
