Six pack at Aldi under the Independence Harbor label: Chemical, mild butter aroma. Crystal clear amber, medium head. Cane sugar, butter, dark honey. Light to medium body, easy carbonation. Nearly macro level pricing, nearly macro level quality too, unfortunately.

Clear amber pour with a caramel malt and honey aroma. The flavor is of sweet caramel malt and honey. Straightforward. Not bad. It’s overly sweet to me.

Bottle from Aldi, Keighley. Deeper golden with a bubbly head. Has a deeper tasting hoppiness with sugars and a hint of fruit.

Bottle. Aldi. 99p! Clear, pale amber. Thick foam of off white head. Nose has toffee malts. Some old hop. Taste is fairly sweet and malty. Light bitterness. Medium body. Foamy carbonation. Very light bitterness to finish. Ok for the price point, but I’d not rush to drink this one again.

355ml bottle from Aldi. Poured a clear light orange amber with a thin broken white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, cereal, light fruits, light dry hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light caramel malt, smooth, dry woody hop bitter palate and lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Won't win too many awards, but a pleasant sessionable beer.

Golden colour with lasting head. Aroma has plenty of floral hop notes. Taste is a bit less good. Has a rough feel.

(Bottle) Clear amber brown with small white head. Aroma is caramel with candy and floral notes. Medium body with plenty of soft carbonation. Taste is dominated by some rather harsh bitterness. There’s some caramel malt and vegetable notes. Rather unpleasant.
Decent enough pale ale

355ml bottle from Aldi; BB Apr 19, drank at home on 15th Sep 18. Poured into an old stemmed glass from the Yuengling Brewery just for giggles and kicks. Looked fine, clear golden amber body, decent smooth blanket of foam on top. Sadly that's where the good bits finished. Light malty front to both the nose and taste, very little hop action or flavour throughout.
