Hazy dark yellow color good bubbly head leaves decent lacing. Orange and corriander aroma. Taste orange, corriander, spices, wheat. Wheat sour and spices dominate, a little too sour to really enjoy it. While I like wheat beers, this one is balancing on mediocre, just ok at best. Pass it...

Bottle pour into shaker. Light, hazy yellow; small quick fading head; heavy, continuing carbonation. Big, flowerly aroma that is somewhat pleasant on the nose, but is not so good when it hits the palate. Like some other reviewers, I am not sure why the label suggests it is hoppy; it is not. This tastes light like a 4.2 ABV. Nothing wrong with this beer; it is drinkable. But I would rather choose something else.

Draft @ Sprecher. Not a bad beer overall, but nothing that special here. Sweet wheat, cereal grains and a little coriander and cinnamon. Try it on tap or buy a single, but I would say don’t buy a whole 6-pack.

This beer is a clear pale golden-orange color with a medium fluffy white head that dissipates quickly. Spotty lacing. Aroma of grainy malt and mild hops. Light body with flavors of sweet malt and grain as well as lightly bitter grassy hops. The finish is short and malty. Slightly below average overall.

Aroma of hops, malt and a bit of spice. Light body with flavors of floral hops, sweet malt and a touch of spice. The finish is mildly hoppy with a short earthy aftertaste. Slightly above average overall.

Bottle at Cactus Club. Filtered yellow-tan. Thin white head. Buttery up front. Buttery malt aroma, some mild hop tones. Unimpressive, mostly butter flavor. Watered down IPA/APA. Not outright bad, just dumbed down...in an offensive manner. Some piny resin in the aroma. BLAND. Demands a rerate to numerically smash it..

A golden APA with a thin white head. In aroma, a strange sulfury piney hops, unpleasant, bodily gases. In mouth, a strange piney hops over faint caramel malts, bizarre sulfury notes, spruce, a bit strange. Bottle at Istmus Beer and Cheese Fest, Jan 21 2012.

From Matt at 3R6P. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a very cloudy apricot color with a large creamy white head that lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was dry coriander and pepper without much in the way of complexity. The flavor was dryish, a touch musty and a bit chalky with moderate notes of coriander and pepper. The finish was long, dry and spicy. Medium body though chewy. Decent.

From Matt at 3R6P. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright yellow-golden color with a large foamy yellow-white head that left some lacing. The aroma was moderate pine, citrus and faint catbox, spruce and lemon. The flavor was piney and citric with moderate dry perfume and undertones of yeast and catbox. The finish was long, dryish and perfumey. Medium body. Eh.
