Had the Hellas after the weizen and I was shocked to see how similar they looked. Slightly darker, but just as turbid as the hef. Clearly unfiltered. Slightly sweet nose that didn’t show a ton of depth. The mouth is soft and modestly hoppy. Not as sweet for the style as I expect but again, not a ton of depth. Ok

Cloudy pale golden color. Frothy white head. Excellent spicy nose of bananas, cloves and a touch of apples. The body is fairly carbonated, with big clove notes but a bit austere and fairly phenolic and perhaps a bit too dry. The phenols linger. It doesn’t make the beer unpleasant but distracts a bit.

Brown with a medium beige head. Aroma was sourish with hints of roasted malt. Flavor was sour with diacetyl, roasted malt and vegetables. Clearly off.

Hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma had yeast and banana. Flavor had banana, yeast and wheat. Somewhat sweet. True to style and straight without flaws. Just not my thing.

Hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma had sulphur and yeasty notes. Flavor was semi dry with diacetyl, yeast and sulpur notes.

Little cloudy yellow beer, big creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: pretty spicy, some banana, very ripe ones, sweet, ice cream smell (is it vanilla?), bit yeasty. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity start, banana, peaches, spices, cloves, bit peppery, bitter herbal touch. Aftertaste: some citrus, bready, yeast, little sweet, banana peel.

Clear reddish dark brown beer, creamy wmooth beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: grains, cow stable, mocha, some chocolate, dark toast. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty fruity start, little sour, red berries, some lemon, toast, little bitter, mocha. Aftertaste: caramel, bit of mocha, slightly sour touch, dry ending, good thirst quencher!

Draft. Slightly sour cherry and barley malt aroma. Slightly hazy pale yellow color with large head. Sweet-tart red cherry and barley malt flavor. Very nice - fruity and a bit funky.

Draft. Earthy sour lemon and wheat malt aroma. Cloudy pale yellow color with nice head. Lightly sweet-tart lemon/orange flavor. Nice body. Unique - not very sweet - tasty.
