Vom Faß im Weißen Schwan, 21.5.2015. - Braungelb, leicht trüb. - Nase nicht allzu kräftig herbfruchtig-hopfenwürzig mit schwachen Karamelnoten. - Antrunk von schlanker, herb fruchtiger Hopfigkeit (Orangenschale) mit hopfenwürzigen Noten. Schwach karamelsüß. Etwas dünner Körper, mild rezent aber mehr Kohlensäure als andere Zoiglbiere. Im Abgang nicht sehr kräftige, herbe aber aromatisch etwas „leere“ Hopfenbittere. - Schwächerer Zoigl: deutlich zu stark karbonisiert, etwas matt gehopft und auch ein wenig dünn. Kein Vergleich mit den besseren Windischeschenbacher Zoiglbieren.

Zwei Halbe vom Faß im Schloßhof, 19.5.2015. - Tiefes Goldbraun (Waldhonig), leicht trüb. - In der Nase zunächst nur milde Karamelnoten. - Antrunk schlank und mild karamelmalzig mit einem Anflug von Rauch. Kaum süß. Nur milde, herb orangenfruchtige und pfeffrige Hopfenbittere. Sehr mild rezent, schlank, schön trocken. Im Abgang aromatisch pfeffrige Hopfenbittere mit Orangenschale. - Origineller Zoigl mit leicht rauchiger Note und schön pfeffrigem Hopfen. Prima!

Draught @ Zoiglstube Fiedlschneider - Silvia Köllner Zoigl, Stadplatz 15, Windischeschenbach, Bavaria Germany 92670. [ As Kommunbrauhaus Windischeschenbach Fiedlschneider Zoigl ].Hazy matt medium orange color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, hay, fruity, light hoppy. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, caramel, pale malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20140511]

On Tap @Stavio (Rome). Unclear amber appearance with a big head. Aroma is bread, yeasts, cereals, malt, some esters. Taste is quite sweet with a soft bitter end, malt, some caramel, cereals, milk bread. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. Another great beer from Franconia!

Bottled, from tap at the zoiglstube. Hazy pale amber, small head. Mild grassy, fruity nose. Mid sweet with light-medium body and well rounded mouthfeel. Fruity and minerally with light hay and mid bitter finish.

Tap @ Alter Pharhoff. Pours hazy golden with a small white head. Lots of bread, caramel hops and mild yeast. A zoigl leaning towards the malts. Smooth and dry finish. Good!

Tap @ Zum Roud’n, Windischeschenbach. July 2013. Pours hazy dark orange with a small white head. Yeasty and phenolic nose and flavor. Grassy hops with fruit and yeast beneath. Quite dirty. 3,1 Tap @ Zum Roudn, April 2017. Breadcrust, baguette, grass and slight twist of lemon hop. Another beer this time. Soft, minerally. Spicy hoppy .. Absolutely amazing! 4,3.

Tap @ Oberphalzer Hof. Pours cloudy golden with a creamy head. Grass, dough, mild lemon and yeast. Crisp, dry and overly delcious. Yes!!! Re-rate 2022: At Binner. Better condition than in the old now close Oberphalzer Hof. Lemon, marmelade, White bread and rustic yeast. 3,8-4.2
