Poured from a 16 oz can dated May 14, 2025.
Aroma is somewhat hop forward with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, tropical citrus and dank, oily resin notes. Light pine notes as well. Light cracker malt and alcohol notes.
Pours a slightly hazy, golden color with a large, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers.
Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness and light alcohol notes. Fairly strong citrus hop notes with tangerine, grapefruit and tropical citrus. Lighter stone fruit notes. Light dank, oily, resin notes that linger somewhat assertively in the finish.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid West Coast IPA. It's a bit too sweet for me and the assertive bitterness in the finish kinda clashes with the sweetness. Alcohol is well hidden and it has nice citrus hop notes.
