Bottle I picked up at some bottle-shop in Berlin. Pours darker brown with low carbonation and not that much foam. Should look a bit darker to fit with my mental image of a proper baltic porter, but need to get by with this one. Nose is spicy, has some toffee, cocoa and sweet sugar residue. Tastes actually nice, smooth, sweet and kind of what I expect from the style. Body is medium-light, wo would have liked a bit sturdier one on this. Woodiness and oak is coming through in the finish. Overall, decent try and beer itself is nice and well drinkable.

50 cl bottle. Pours cloudy pale golden. Rocky, long-lasting white head. Aroma is quite low: citrus, white flowers, some eucalyptus leaf, some biscuit. Mouth is fizzy, medium-bodied and fresh. Mildly long finish with a hint of bitterness.

Clear dark golden colour with thin head. Aroma is strong with sharp and slightly funky wine notes. Flavour is similar but a bit sweeter. Fairly light bodied.

Bottled (backlog). Hazy amber colour with a longlasting small head. Aroma is caramel malts, some slight floral and nectary notes along with mild band aid. Flavour is zesty, some nectar, mild marmalade as well as some slight grainy notes.

Bottled (MT/KS/MB February tasting). Deep ambery brown colour with asmall off-white head. Aroma is roasted malts, some sweet dried fruits and mild raisins. Flavour is roasted malts, dried fruits, some raisins, mild acidic wooden notes as well as some slight floral notes. Mild chocolate to it as well. Feels like the slight acidicness is not intended.

Brown color with a short formation of a beige head, short retention. Aroma has notes of oak and red wine. Flavor with wooden notes, light bitterness, some fruitness. Red wine in the aftertaste.
