Bottle, bb 09.16 (thanks fatphil). Pours copper. Aroma is sweet, slight metallic notes, caramel. Flavor is sweet, slightly bitter, nutty notes. Body is very watery. Overall: drinkable, but rather bland and too damn watery. --- Beer merged from original tick of Little Bichos Bogavante on 04 Nov 2022 at 12:17. Original review text: bl

Dark brown color, steady brownish head. Aroma has licorice and berries. Medium-bodied. Licorice, candy, caramel, some light tartness. Suprisingly easy for these ingridients.

Draught @ HBF 2016. Pours dark brown with a thick foamy head. Aroma of berries, yeast, berries and vinous notes. Taste is a bit boozy, yeasty and stuffy with some funky notes, spices and wood. Finish is smooth, sweetish and oaky with hints of berries and booze. A bit messy.

Tap? @HBF 2016. Poured almost black in color with a thick brown head. Aroma is hoppy, with caramel notes, light smoke and earhty notes. Soury flavor with berries, some bready notes. Roast as well. Pleasant, some saisony wibes.

Stones bar. Bottle. Almost clear gold amber beer, thin pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and quite minerally crisp. Thin malts, dry, not that sweet either. Dry orange and marmalade hops. Dry crisp finish. Not bad but pretty dry and a little thin.

Poseidon Bar, Helsinki. Bottle. Lightly hazy orange - amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is light, dry and finely minerally crisp. Thin malts, not that sweet. Dark marmalade hops. A woody and surprisingly bitter PX sherry. Dry and woody bitter finish. Nice beer, unusual and tasty. Don’t get the sub 3s here - what were people expecting from a PX BA IPA?
