500ml bottle at home. Pleasant citrus hoppy aroma, biscuit and caramel notes. Taste is maltier than expected but it does have a nice citrus flavor and bitterness. Overly carbonated and harsh finish.

500ml bottle. Was hoping this would be nitro. Pours an inky black with a thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate and toasted hazelnuts. Taste is the same, nice thick mouthfeel, long bitter finish. --- Beer merged from original tick of Milk Stout on 21 May 2018 at 17:49 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5. 330ml bottle, as Open Gate Brewery Pilsner (four pack from my local Morrison's Supermarket. Poured into a rarely used old 'Watzdorfer Brauerei' badged vase shaped flute at home on 11th May 2018. Very pale golden body, clean and bright, white crown on top. Dry and slightly hoppy with no aroma worthy of the name. Bland and pretty boring to be honest, will have to use the other three in the pack for unwanted guests at my next BBQ.

30/3/2018. Bottle from Tesco, Martlesham. Pours very dark brown with a small lasting beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, lactose, dark fruits, chocolate, light coffee and hint of berry. Medium plus sweetness, light roasted bitterness, slight hint of sour. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Not a great but best Guinness branded beer I've had.

Black beer, thick off-white head. A hefty aroma of toasted malt and coffee. Tastes of malt, coffee, liquorice, toffee. This is a lovely rich stout with a nice blend of a bit of sugary sweetness to offset the Earthy, toasty bitterness of the other flavours. Really nice.
