Old rating from 18-02-16 - A 440ml bottle brought back from South Africa by my cousin. Pours a golden colour with medium carbonation and a cream head. Aromas of flora & honey bush. Tastes of rooibos, honey & malt with a crisp bitterness in the finish. Overall a very enjoyable beer

0,33 flaske fra sjappe på Long Street (Cape Town), på hotellrommet feb-20: nesten helt klar dyp gylden med kort skum. Intetsigende aroma og smak av lys malt (inkludert krystallmalt), litt visne urter, barskog og en knivsodd appelsinmarmelade. Nondescript.

Bottle from Checkers Liquor Store, Windhoek. It pours clear yellow with a medium white head. The aroma is sweet, papery, lager maltage, grainy notes and cereal. The taste is surprisingly sweet upfront, sugary, grainy, cheap white bread, cream soda and cereal with a sweetish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Pretty sweet and shitty. Don’t know what makes this craft.....

Bottle from Checkers Liquor Store in Windhoek. The aroma is rather sweet, loads of banana candy (somewhat artificial) spicy, clove, wheat, cereal and bread. The taste is crisp and dry initially, sweet banana undertones, toasty grain, cereal, straw, grass and a touch of spice with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate+ foamy carbonation. Taste is nowhere near as sweet as aroma suggests. It’s not gonna set the world on fire, but it is a fair weiss and fair option in a land of pale lager.
