Dark chocolate, sherry, caraway, and butter toffee. Sweet and malty and yeasty, with a mild nutty bitterness. Heavy, chewy, and grainy. Nicely done, with a perfect barrel addition.

Aromas are dark malt, cocoa, roast and a hint of vanilla. Flavors are similar to nose. On the sweet side with enough bitter and carbonation to balance. Okay body.
I had this years ago and raided it on RB. Just another one of those that they lost for some reason.

12 oz can that was given to me as a Father’s Day gift. The pour is a slightly hazed orange golden with a well formed off white one inch head. The aroma is honey, herbal yeast, malt sweetness and grass. The taste is coriander, orange peel, zest, herbal, honey malt sweet and warming alcohol towards the back. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a honey herbal longer finish that is warming with some alcohol.

Can. Bready malt aroma with notes of caramel, toffee, floral and grassy hops. Pours amber-golden colored with a half a finger of off white head that has excellent retention and lacing. Starts with caramel, bread and grassy hop flavors. Finishes smooth and crisp with toffee and floral hop flavors. Good winter lager.
