On tap at Villa Gerard, 7 't Zand, Brugge on 12th June 2023. Clean and clear golden body, snow white head; looked good in the afternoon sunshine. Malty, fruity, boozy and herbal; good for a headache I reckon.

Keg. Hazy golden body with a thin white head that holds well. Faint lacing. Aroma of coriander and wheat. Flavour of musky lemon and straw. Medium body with a powdery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Simple and swiggable.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours almost clear pale yellow with a thin white head. Aromas are grainy and bready. Light spice. Taste is more of the same. Bitter finish.

Bottled. A pale golden pour with an off-white head. Aroma is bread, grass, slight funk, some lemon. Dry, medium carbonation; not to crisp. Medium bitterness in the likely medium-lived aftertaste. Meh.

On tap at the brewery. A clean pale golden pour with a greenish cast and a short-lived snow-white head. Aroma is vanilla, spearmint, bergamot, lemon, grass, leather... and there's also a funky tinge of saddle, most probably some Brett. Mouthfeel is dry, robust, medium-bodied. Bitterish, long-lingering finish.

33 cl bottle in the terrace of Cooking Dao, by the Oude Hansbrug, Keerbergen. A slightly hazy golden pour with some greenish highlights and a nice, thick, creamy, off-white head. In the nose the first notes are those typical of Belgian malts, in this case leaning towards a grassy hint, more than mint or eucalyptus. There's also lemon and cookies. Dry, full-bodied and crisp. There's more bitterness than usual in this style, it reminds me more of a tripel than a Belgian pale ale.
