Bottle shared by Jay at the December 2022 PS tasting, 12/10/22. Amber, medium tan head, good retention. Aroma of buttery malt, vanilla, citrus. Vanilla icing, basically. Taste is cherry, orange, vanilla. Mild booze, especially for the ABV.

Does taste like an Old Fashion which is a cocktail I enjoy from time to time. Clear cherry amber and no head really. Nose is vanilla, bourbon, and cherry. Tatsss of wood, bourbon, vanilla, orange bitters, sweet cherries, some cola. Very smooth palate slightly slick. Nice for a stormy night which it is.

Bottle. Pours a clear reddish hue with a small white head. A big spicy and citrus nose. Slightly sour, malty, caramel, light sour mash. Tastes a bit like gin.

$7.49 bottle, TWG. Clear amber with a dusting of a head. Love an old fashioned, so let's see about this... Caramel, bourbon, cherry nose. Flavor is not quite an old fashioned actually it's not even close. Bourbon, cherry, vanilla, barrel, hints of orange. Not an OF, but still tasty.

Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours clear ruddy copper with a huge creamy near-white head. Aroma of bourbon, malt and an orange note. Med plus body. It's towards dry. Arguably orange zest and heat for bitter. Flavor is malt, bourbon, orange and a slight cherry note. Wood in the finish. Actually quite nice.

16oz can I picked up at the brewery. Pours a hazy orange with a cap of white head. Nose is punchy, grapefruit pulp, some nettles, natural wine, soured barrel. Flavor is very sour, grapefruit and champagne and natural wine and some rice wine vinegar. Full bodied, tart, acetic finish. There was a sweet grape character at the end that helped smooth out the edges.
