16oz can at bottle share. Violet pour with a pinkish head. Berries in the aroma, tartness. More berries in the taste, along with some light bready notes and a mild pucker.

Can from Tavour: pours light bright orange haze with a white head. Aroma is grapefruit and citrus mostly. Sharp, pithy and sweet. This reminds me of the first wave of second tier NEIPAs, and I think that is what it is.

Can from Tavour: pours light orange haze with white head. Aroma is citrus and light tropical fruit. Taste is sweet, maltier than it should be, hop profile is fine, but unrefined. Drinkable but nothing fancy.

750mL bottle pours with a murky mahogany colored body that supports a lasting light tan head of thin foam. The aroma offers up a blend of sweet smelling prunes and malt drenched nuttiness followed by a bit of boozy heat. The taste follows suit with a pleasing sweet dark fruity ester sensation of prunes and dates. It then picks up notes of sweet malts, a hit of molasses and then a vague yet sweetened nutty character. Toward the finish the booze takes over for a bit of edge and providing a nice counter to the sweetness that's going on here. This is bright in spots and tries to become too sweet but doesn't. This is a nice sipper.

Pint can pours with a deep dark mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up booze soaked smooth bourbon and then lesser amounts of dark roasted malts, jammy prune dark fruity esters, chocolate and a faint molasses note. The taste delivers smooth supple bourbon ringed thinly by brighter hotter boozy notes. Just beneath the booze is a pleasing layer of chocolate and sweet prune and date dark fruity esters. To midway mild notes of caramel and molasses join up with the chocolate in a failed attempt at beating back the booziness. Into the finish a firm sense of spicy oak wonders about the fields of bourbon and booze to help drive this experience to closure. Booze shows up in this rating but it isn't out of place or too much in any sense for a beer like this. It's basically spot on. Great balanced sipper.
