Bottle from the brewery. Flavor is mostly currents and oak. Sharp sourness. Very tart currents. I love this brewery but this is almost harsh for me.

From a 16 oz. can. Pours a clear orange gold with an off white head. Aromas of dank fruit. Flavors are bitter citrus and pine.

Pint can pours with a dirty murky opaque straw gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. The aroma offers up mango, guava and then faint lemon, tangerine and orange. The taste delivers juicy lemon and lime cut with thin soft pineapple and mango. Nice. To midway a mild rye kind of dark biscuit like sensation is at a just noticeable level. Into the finish it picks up a wafer thin layer of orange juice and orange sherbet. Really nice stuff that's more bright and citrus bitterness than soft sweet tropical fruitiness. Works.

Pint can pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin tan head of foam. The aroma offers up molasses, black strap molasses and then brown sugar dusted prunes. The taste delivers similar notes of sweet molasses, a spicy black strap molasses sensation and then more molasses drizzled over prunes. It rides into the finish rather effortlessly with lingering sweet maltiness hanging around for a while. Solid sipper.

Can from the brewery, Thanks Stacey. With the single I got more citrus, light herbal, mild malt. With a juice like texture. This separate’s itself by more herbal, more bitterness with a touch more pine character. No sugar at all. Funny to see how brews can develop. No lactose used here at all.

Can from the brewery, Thanks Stacey. Aroma and flavor are a reflection. Citrus, light herbal, mild malt. Balanced. Juicy texture, soft mouthfeel. Damn, this brewer nailed the style. Impressive!
