Can from Tavour. Pours light amber gold with a large foamy white head that did some lacing. Aroma is very nice level of smoke. Med body. Not very sweet. Smoke stands in for bitter. The smoky malt has very good flavor.

500 ml bottle. Aroma has notes of rum raisin, bourbon, vanilla, black licorice, molasses. Pours like used motor oil with a half finger tan head that reduces to a ring fairly quickly. Taste is moderately to highly sweet with some bitterness on the back end; some umami. Lovely bourbon barrel flavors. Delicious but pretty rich. Oily to velvety mouthfeel.

16oz can from Tavour. Milky yellow pour, head settles down to a thin silky layer. Aroma is a fruity blend, with the the edge going to citrus. Taste is zesty, grapefruit peel, tangerine. Zesty bite lingers. Incredibly smooth.

Can from Tavour. Pours hazy gold with a moderate white head. Aroma of pink grapefruit. Med body or better. Juicy and somewhat sugary, but there's a lot of mouth clinging citrus/pine bitterness. Red grapefruit pith and more. Excellent flavor.

Aromas are resin, citrus rind, malt and dry grain. Flavors are similar to nose with excellent balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation. Finish follows flavors. Very good beer.

16oz can from Tavour. Murky, Hazy orange/golden pour, silky white head leaves rings of lacing. Fruity aroma walks the line between tropical and citrusy. Taste is fruity, light zesty character, melon, tangerine. Finishes with a tangy bitter bite and some booze.

Pint can - clear medium gold - small lace that completely dissipates - nose of caramelized sugars, deep smokiness, a bit or bright, sort of maibock-like fruitiness - medium body - rich malt approach with notes of honey and kettle caramelization - strong smokiness follows - the malt richness rides through to the finish so the smoke has something to hand on to - lightly bitter and lightly spicy finish - the smoke lingers, woody and autumnal - autumn is my favorite time of beer!
