Description
Our name draws inspiration from the huge skies where endless mountains melt into clouds on the horizon. This might seem odd considering the fact that we are smack in the middle of the flatlands in Oklahoma City, but our founder Joel Irby (an Oklahoma native) spent 10 years perfecting his brewing craft at breweries in Boulder, Colorado. The urge eventually hit to open up his own spot, and with Oklahoma City’s recent growth and proximity to family it was the perfect place to make this dream a reality. We opened our doors in the summer of 2017.

Very hazy, deep and beautiful straw golden coloured body with a nice two centimetre tall off-white microfoamed (at the top) head that stays afloat nicely above the 90 per cent opaque yellow glow. Aroma of alcohol, deep orange peel and tangerines with some nice malts and biscuits noticeable for support and seemingly a lot of alcohol - in the nose, at least. Full-bodied; Very strong and rich malts show at first, but the fruits are right behind, with the apricots, peaches and stone fruits strongest and very deep, but there is some oranges and grapefruit here as well, with a light hit of sugars from the lactose, but a bunch more from the alcohol, which is strong. Aftertaste shows the bitterness from the hops, in a nice, older school way, with some nice fruit flavours still at the finish, with the apricots and stone fruits strongest, but some floral and grassy notes do hit at the end that bump up the bitterness. Overall, a very nice rich and strong IPA that has a lot of bitterness, alcohol, malts, stone fruits and pungency, but is great for the style and enjoyable throughout. Great to have from Oklahoma, very fresh as well and well worth the space in my suitcase to bring back home to the East Coast! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Freeman's Liqour in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 01-September-2022 for US$4,95, canned on 12-May-2022 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 21-September-2022.

Very hazy golden coloured body with a beautiful straw yellow glow and a pretty thin, single to barely two centimetres tall pure white head. Aroma of bright oranges, tangerines, some light grapefruit and a bit stronger mango notes with a light dose of flowers and a bunch of alpha acids from the hops in the nose - very nice. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich stone fruit and citrusey flavours dominate with a ton of orange and mango components with some additional body from guava and mangoes with a light dose of sugars from the honey and caster sugar elements, but some nice bitterness at the end from the fresh hops. Aftertaste shows some mangoes and deep fruitiness with a lot of grass and hay elements, but the majority of the malts come from the wheat and slightly oaty notes, especially at the end. Overall, a very nice, super fruity and nicely balanced sweet and fruity beer with some good hop notes and light bitterness, but the balance from the wheat and sugars is very nice here. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Freeman's Liqour Shop in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 11-January-2023 for US$4,59 and canned on 28-November-2022, but sampled in my hotel room here in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 12-January-2023.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a two to three centimetre tall tan and light brown head. Aroma of coffee, light toasted malts, some oatmeal, a dash of grain and earthiness and a lot of milk, creamy notes and especially the milk chocolate notes that show nicely in the nose. Medium-bodied; Pretty strong roasty qualities dominate from the malts with a lot of the oats and lactose coming through with a lot of coffee bitterness and a touch of vanilla and icing sugar at the very end, but the malts hold this together with some bitterness and chocolate notes throughout. Overall, a pretty nice lighter milk stout with a great dose of both milk chocolate and coffee that hits the right notes nicely and leaves the palate relatively dry and robust without being strong, cloying or pungent in the slightest. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased yesterday from Freeman's Liqour Shop in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 11-January-2023 for US$3,59 sampled in my hotel room here in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 12-January-2023.

Very clear golden coloured body with a thinnish pure white head that fades quickly and leaves a thin lace on the top of the beer. Aroma of mostly light malts with some biscuity elements and a dash of sugars, but a bunch of nicely aromatic hatch chiles that don't show much spice, but the scent they give off is great. Light to Medium-bodied; Crisp malt backbone shows at first with a good level of yeast and biscuity elements that end with a light hit of caster sugar and a much stronger chile flavour that comes through at the end that again, isn't spicey, but hits very nicely and provides a good dose of flavour on top of the biscuity malts. Aftertaste is almost all hatch chiles with a lot of malts that balance out nicely with a dash of yeast, bread and sugars on the end, but ths finishes with a lot of the chiles, which are very nice throughout in this one. Overall, an enjoyable beer throughout with a ton of hatch chile flavour that is at the right level, complemented with a good malt backbone and a dose of sugars, but this is enjoyable, even for those folks who don't like chiles. Great to sample, especially locally and very fresh! I sampled this twelve ounce can, purchased from Freeman's Liqour Store in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 11-January-2023 for US$2,59 sampled in my hotel room here in [downtown] Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 11-January-2023.

Super dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, barely one centimetre tall rich tan head that leaves a thin lace on the sides. Aroma of very strong lactose and a ton of allspice and canella here with some star anise as well - very strong on the spice side of things. Full-bodied; Very rich malty flavours dominate with a lot of sugars from the added pie here, but also from some molasses or raisins, both which seem very noticeable and strong throughout with a lot of pungency throughout and a big alcohol bite on the end, but about what you expect for a 14+ per center. Aftertaste shows some big allspice and pumpkin pie notes with a lot of canella as well and some noticeable nutmeg too with a lot of sweetness of course, but ends well with the rich malts, lactose and especially sugars here. Overall, a nice and super rich beer that shows a ton of flavours and spices here with a lot of sweetness, but not cloying or too pungent - this works well, especially for the really high alcohol. Great to have, especially on draught here at the brewpub. I sampled this ten ounce pour on draught at the brewery here in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 09-January-2023 for US$10,00.

Ever so slightly hazy golden and light peach coloured body with a nice one to two centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat for a long time and leaves a thin lace on top. Aroma of grass and hay with some flowers and a dry, pungent herbal aspect with some nice bitterness throughout, in the nose at least. Medium-bodied; Rich grassy and very herbal flavour at first that shows a nice bit of hay and flowers here and some good bitterness that shows through everything with a good and noticeable sweetness on the end, with some light malt and grainy crispness at the end, too. Aftertaste shows some flowers and definite dryness, but the light grassy and herbal bitterness from the malts and especially the hops are nice here. Overall, a good IPA with crisp aspects throughout and some solid bitterness and sweetness - great to try, especially fresh on tap at the brewpub! I sampled this half litre pour on draught at the brewery here in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 09-January-2023 for US$7,50.

Super dark and rich deep dark brown coloured body with absolutely no head at all, and what is here is simply an oily slick - strong looking and nice and opaque. Aroma of pure sugar and molasses with a lot of pitted fruits, chocolate and especially lactose with big creamy notes that punch out a lot of richness in the nose, at least. Full-bodied; Super rich lactosey and sweet flavours dominate with a lot of grainy notes, a ton of molasses and raisins, figs and pitted fruits, but the cookie and chocolate flavours melded with the lactose are by far the strongest, in a good way, but this is very rich of course. Aftertaste shows some malted milk ball qualities with a big whopper (the candy, not the sandwich) quality and a lot of chocolate, lactose and especially lactose. Overall, this one is very nice, as expected, but the sweetness is sort of overpowering here, at least from an overall beer perspective, with the sweetness dominating here, more than the malt and chocolate. Great to sample and well worth trying to find if the can/bottle this one at all!I sampled this four ounce pour on draught at the brewery here in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 09-January-2023 for US$6,00.

On tap at Stonecloud, pours black with a tiny light brown head. Aroma brings out tons of coffee, bourbon and vanilla — with tons of booze permeating. Flavour is very boozy and chaotic, with lots of bourbon and vanilla, drowned out by the booze. Way too chaotic and boozy, lacking integration. Needs serious work.
