Draft at Whole Foods, Wheaton. Fizzy like a soda. I can get behind that. Light apple nose, nothing really stands out, but nice. Taste had some of the tartness of a heritage apple variety, but there's some sweetness here to keep that in check. Good apple juice style cider with noticable alcohol. Their trying to kick the keg because everyone comes here just for beer, so this was $3 for a point pour. Score!

Can from Livonia Liquor. Pours a clear straw gold with no head. Apple, pear skin and light mineral on the nose. Fine carbonation, but not overly active. Dry on the palate with pear, apple and slight note of tannins on the palate. Enjoyable.

Nice. Tart/crisp/sharp apples/fruit peel/lemon/pear/pepper/herbal/floral/yeast funk/earth; lt oak/vanilla. Semidry/semicrisp carb. Lingering acid/tannin drying. Very flavorful/refreshing. Nice fruit complexity/balance w/ the yeast. Very tasty.

Very nice. Juicy/lt tart pears/lemon/apple/herbal/yeast earth/lt honey. Semisweet/mild carb. Slight acid/tannin drying. Very flavorful/refreshing. Nice fruit complexity, mild English yeast. Very well made pear cider, not overly sweet. Delicious.
