Pours deep amber with a large, lasting head and lots of lacing.Nose shows loads of fruity hops; heaps of rockmelon, peach, apricot, tangerine,orange blossom, lemon sherbet and confectionery. Not much is detectable underneath it all, except for a faint hint of crystal. Pretty amazing.Flavours show more malt, at first it’s a big, resinous, piney hoppy hit but then some crystal and light toasty malt shows. Some of the fruit remains, in particular tangerine and peach. Bold bitterness, but in no way extreme.Great moderately high carbonation. Body could be a little richer.

From a 500ml bottle on 11/4/2011. Pours mahogany with a big head. Has an interesting aroma of blackcurrents, cherries and chocolate.The flavours are dark chocolate, plums and apples, with a long oaky, bitter finish. The body is quite light for a beer this big. A solid, enjoyable stout.

Med brown color. Oak, dark chocolate, dark cherries, brownies in the nose. Touch of smoke and dark chocolate with oak in the mouth. Nit enough hops or body. Tastes much lighter than 6.8%. lingering oaky chocolate finish.

Light brown color. Light hint of smoke and tomatoes and moderately hopped nose. Light mouth, a bit of sourness. Fairly smokey mouth, moderate bitterness. Tomato flavors in the background. Tries to be balanced, but there is just too much going on and the beer becomes muddled. Moderate bitter smokey finish.

Lots of crystal malt a touch of caramel, not enough body. Kinda enjoyable with some resiny grapefruit notes, but the malt profile is wrong. Moderately bitter finish.

Bottled@omhpertasting. Amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is pleasant fruity and floral hops along with a quite malty body as well. Flavour is bigtime wellbalanced hops in a very nice way. Pleasant.

A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has strong notes of hops, lending the beer notes of grass and grapefruits, which is combined with lighter notes of over ripe fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, over ripe fruits, and fresh peaches and grapefruit, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.
