Description
The Landskron Brau-Manufaktur Görlitz was founded in 1869. It is one of the oldest producing industrial monuments in Germany. At Landskron, since 1869 all beers are brewed using traditional fermentation vats according to the traditional brewing tradition and are allowed to mature for a particularly long time in 12-meter-deep vaulted cellars. In contrast to industrial breweries with computer-controlled brewing systems, all beers at Landskron are managed by experienced master brewers by hand.

And again a bottle from kappldav123. Thanks a lot! Bright unclear copper in the glass with a mighty foamy head. Smells grassy with a fruity malty background. Taste starts more dry malty, little bit toasted, fruity in the second row. Okay.

bottle, kindly donated by kappldav123! Hazy golden with a mid-sized white head. Malty start, quite sweet, with shy fruity hints and a lingering hoppy finish.

Many thanks to kappldav123 for this bottle! Smooth with grainy hints. Some caramel, round and refreshing with a smooth and grainy sweetish aftertaste. Hints of nice malts there, refreshing but somehow grainy-sweetish.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass zippy, small head. Starts fine malty, modest dry, some fruity hints. Light metallically background. Bit nutty-earthy. Finish could be more balanced, malty, light metallically. Okay.

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle at RBBSG 2016 in Evergem. Minimally hazy, golden amber with a white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly peaty aroma of caramel, honey and some peat. Sweet-malty, slightly peaty taste of caramel, honey and peat, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, quite peaty finish. Medium to full body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Off-balanced, don’t really like it.

Thx! to Beerhunter111. 750 ml. swing-top bottle sampled @ RBBSG V. 2015 Vintage. Hazy amber, orange, little white head. Nose is quite bland, sugar, plastic, oddly sweet, sugary, bit thinned, low smoke. Taste & body are rather thin, bit fizzy,… Smoked basic malt, leaves, fizzy, herbal, low oak, sugar,… Thin fizzy, far too plane & simple. Rather bland & thin.
