Brewery draught, 2/2/25.
Clear deep golden. Small, white head.
Spicy hop with a bit of sweet malt/rice. Clean with crisp hop and mineral.
A bit of paper throughout the texture with a touch of apple. Not sweet but could be more crispy on the finish too. Honestly, this seems a bit sloppy and rushed.

Can from Bierbaum De Pijp, Amsterdam. Aroma is grainy malt with straw. Mild sweetish and light bitter flavour, medium body. Lacks a little depth, but good unfiltered Lager.

Pint can. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown color with a small beige head that soon recedes to a fine ring. The aroma is strong with sweet smoke flavors. The taste is more of the same--lots of sweet smoked goodness. The taste conjures up memories of smoked brisket, ribs and bacon. The palate is light and crisp. Finishes long and semi=sweet. Overall: Decent, one of the best American made smoke beers. Paired well with some summer sausage.
