Poured from a can dated 04/01/26 into a becher pint
It pours a pale straw golden yellow with a slight haze, almost three fingers of eggshell white head. It's takes its time to settle leaving lots of sticky lace.
Aroma of crackery and biscuity malt, yeast, spicy and grassy noble hops.
The taste is similar to the aroma if not a bit more complex. Clean cracker and biscuit like malts meld with zesty and peppery noble hops. Lightly bitter grassy hop notes move in toward the finish making a refreshing beverage.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a medium carbonation, snappy, crisp and refreshing makes an extremely sessionable beer
Overall a very nice German pilsner. I'd gladly revisit this one again as summer nears. Jack's Abby knows a thing or two about a quality lager.

Pour is a cloudy golden with a large white head. Aroma is all citrus and lime. smells like sun tan lotion. Flavor is heavy citrus and lime. I don't want to believe Jack's Abby made a beer with artificial flavorings but this is what I am getting. Taste like a cleaning product. Finish is gone quickly. Not one of the Brewers best.

Pour looks like a hazy IPA with a large foamy white head. Aroma is wheat malt, bubble gum and cloves. Flavor is a big bubble gum sweetness with some chewy wheat malt and a peppery spice on the back end. No banana like some others but this had lots of flavor and a super thick and chewy mouthfeel.

Pour is a golden with a large white head. Aroma is a nice cracker malt with a spicy hop. Flavor is a spicy hop dominate with some dry pils malt to back things up. This was a well made pils I guess only found at Trader Joe's

Hudson draught 5/21/26.
Biscuity malt with earthy, more subtle hops. A kick of honey-like malt supports.
Fruity, earthy, lots of mineral and a varied mix of grain. Not sure I've tried this Steffi malt before and it's lovely. Nice and deep texture. I suppose one could accuse it of being too malty-sweet for a lager, but I love it. The malt complexity is outstanding and the hops are very unusual. Earth, mineral, subtle fruits. Not just the same old pepper and herb. Really fascinating stuff.
