Solid pils, light and crisp, with a mild grainy sweetness and a gentle hop fruity backbone. White bread and citrus show up on the finish. Nice.

355ml bottle [9.3% abv]. Cloudy, dark amber colour with small, creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty aroma, weak BA support with a touch of oak, Bourbon, vanilla. Taste is dry, caramel malty, slightly peppery, yeasty spicy, minimally papery, bitter hoppy, notes of caramel with subtle residual sweetness, very cautious BA support with a minimally tannic touch of oak, light vanilla; slightly warming, alcoholic finish. Dissolved sugar-enriched, watery texture, dry, minimally pungent palate, fine, soft to flat carbonation. Rather monotonous, simple, not overly impressive.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrusy hops, malt, and lemons. The flavor is malt and straw, leading to a bitter finish

16 oz. can. Pours a hazy-ish, pale, straw color, with a big, frothy, white head. The nose is butterscotch, straw, green apple, honeysuckle, and leather. Dry and sharp. Refreshing, vineous, and lively.

Interesting, a strong, hoppy pale lager that thankfully never grows overly sweet, instead offering up citrus and grain in equal amounts, followed by an earthy, floral finish. Not as hop-centric as the description suggests, but a pretty good lager nonetheless.

Not sure what's up with ABC's collab canning, but this beer's overcarbonated as shit, which means in a couple months it would likely have been as explosive as the tallboy of Whaka Kore I opened a couple days ago. Really--quality control, guys. This beer's bubbly like a Belgian blonde ale and just as yeasty, with tons of apple-tinted esters blotting out whatever cascadian schwarzbier goodness was intended. Bad taste, bad texture...come on, man. This is terrible. Like off batch of homebrew terrible.
