Keg at the Birmingham Brewing Co taproom, 18/02/23. Dark mahogany brown with a good sized lasting khaki head. Nose is dark malts, cocoa powder, light roast, raisins, brown sugar dusting. Taste comprises earthy roast, charr, chocolate biscuit, raisins, fruit slice, ashen nip. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light drying close. Decent enough simple stout.

Keg at the Birmingham Brewing Co taproom, 18/02/23. Clear golden blonde with a white cap that thins to a swirl. Nose is grass, melon, straw, grains, faint bread. Taste comprises light aspartamic notes, grass, herb, grains, straw, faint lemon nip. Medium to light in body, fine carbonation, light drying close. Not bad for the style.

Keg at the Birmingham Brewing Co taproom, 18/02/23. Almost clear golden to pinkish pour with an off white head. Nose is grass, grains, pink berry sherbets, straw. Taste comprises blackcurrant, berry pips, herb, straw, damp hay, red berry sherbets. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a light puckering kiss. Passable simple sour.

Taste comprises fruit slice, biscuit, grains, toffee, orange pee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Okay for the style.

Taste comprises lemon nip, straw, light floral vibes, grass, hint of bread dough. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable and pedestrian.

Cask at the Birmingham Brewing Co taproom, 18/02/23. Golden blonde with a decent lasting white cap. Nose is pale malts, straw, faint lemon, toasted grains, grass. Taste comprises tangerine, grass, soft malts, melon. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with leafy hop bitterness. Like most of the beers on show here ... rather pedestrian.

Taste comprises biscuit malt, hedgerow, herb, grains, earthy fruit dusting. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Passable bitter.

Cask at the Birmingham Brewing Co taproom, 18/02/23. Hazed golden orange with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, melon, light breads, papaya. Taste comprises orange pith, melon, grass, citric tinged straw, airy malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with grassy come juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough pale .... best on show here for me.
