Keg at the Halton Turner taproom, 12/02/22. Lightly hazed orange with a faint reddish glint and topped with a good sized lasting cream cap. Nose is tangy citric zest, hint of red berries, straw, grains. Taste comprises fruit salad chews, lemon zest, grass, toasted malts. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a modest pucker. Fun refreshing sour ... gets the fruit salad effect over well.

Can from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear pale straw colour with a fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is dank hops, light citrus. The flavour is light bitter and sweet, with a light, watery, dank, light lemon citrus palate. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Everything you might expect from a low alcohol beer in many ways, but with some added flavour.

Slightly cloudy pale gold with a creamy white head, and a subtle aroma of citrusy hops and light malt, hints of yeast also. Creamy and smooth, the citrus hops and light malt balance out very nicely, leading into a dry, bitter finish. not massively flavourful, but a great example of an easy drinking and refreshing golden ale
