Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to LKS for hauling this one back. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Soft airy and fairly dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Soft malts, quite dry. Bitter brett. Light and aged tasting twangy citric hops. Dry and bitterish finish. Hard to dislike but hard to get enthused about too.

Bottle shared in London - picked up in Sofia. Slow gusher. Pours lightly hazy gold with a sense, creamy yellow-tan head. A whiff of brett suggests this beer has gotten a little buggy! But it's actually quite nice. Has notes of pin, moderate funk, melon, alcohol, grass, tangerine. Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes dry and lightly warming, with more bretty funk, citrus peel. Good stuff, if unintentionally funky.

Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up in town. Mild gusher. Pours black-brown with a billowing, foamy beige head. Not bad overall, has some dried dark berries, bitter cocoa, scorched earth, sturdy roasted malts. Light to medium bodied with massaging carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more baking cocoa, background dried berries. Fun stuff.

Bottle at the flat in Sofia - picked up in town. Pours unclear brown with a billowing, foamy beige head. Has mellow suggestions of brett, soft roast, toasted brown bread, a littleness orange peel, vague black pepper. Light bodied with super lively carbonation. Finishes with further drying brett funk, mild dark malts. Novel.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up in Sofia. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a big fluffy white head that settles into a creamy topping. Nice rounded saison yeast character, a bit of melon, soft funk, tangerine and peach, supportive lightly doughy wheat bread, mellow bitter hay and orange rind. Light to medium bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Finishes with moderate sweetness, more forward yeast, wheat, citrus fruits. Solid offering.

Bottle at the hotel in Sofia - picked up at 100 Beers. Pours mostly clear gold with a big, foamy white head. Mild gusher. The nose suggests some funk, a bit of brett, tangy citrus, hay bales. Light sweet flavour with notes of semi-ripe tangerine, some soft funk, grassy bitterness, white grape. Medium bodied with active, massaging carbonation. Finishes dry and lightly warming, more suggestions of brett, a bit of drying funk, mellow grassy bitterness, more tangerine character. Great stuff overall, although some of the character may be unintentional.

F: huge, egg-white, long lasting. C: murky amber, hazy, opaque. A: malty, bit citrus, bit tropical fruits, yeasty. T: malty, vaguely fruity, wet cloth, bit bready, yeasty, harsh bitterness, earthy tones, medium body, high disturbing carbonation, not good balanced, must to improve the recipe at least to match the style, 33cl bottle from 100 Beers in Sofia, Bulgaria.
