Description
the Brasserie Au Cœur du Malt opened its doors on December 19, 2016. The Brasserie is located in the Hauts-de-France region in the Oise region of the Picardie. It specializes in unfiltered tasting beer, re-fermented in the bottle. The productions of the AU CŒUR DU MALT brewery are made from natural products and respect brewing traditions.

Robe noire, mousse épaisse et abondante. Nez sur des céréales grillées, avec un petit côté frais. Goût sur le malt, café, avec une note acidulée et fraîche en fin de bouche.

330ml bottle. Slightly cloudy, orangey, dark golden colour with huge, frothy to macropore, diminishing, white head. Sweet-ish, slightly bready malty and yeasty fruity, minimally grassy hoppy aroma, hints of apricot, Puddingteilchen, minimally dusty, yeasty overtones. Taste is slightly bitter hoppy, yeasty fruity, minimally dusty yeasty, hints of apricot, sweet-ish, biscuity and bready malty basis; lively to fizzy carbonation.

Bière 75 cl achetée à Les chopes à Lille. J'ai été attiré par la jolie étiquette et le fait que c'est une IPA, type de bière que j'adore. C'est une jolie blonde qui mousse beaucoup. Nez sur le houblon et le malt, pas très caractéristique d'une IPA. Au goût, c'est une bière équilibrée mais pas assez typée IPA à mon gout, plutôt une blonde un peu houblonnée avec un côté trop sucré et pas assez fruité pour une IPA, ce qui masque l'amertume. C'est une bière respectable mais qui tient pas ses promesses.

330ml bottle from Les Bieres des Celestin, Lille. Pours black, tan head. Aroma has nice grainy dark malt. Taste presents a bright carbonation, nice initial dark malrs with good woody roast nestling down on the finish. Carbonation could do with being toned down a little in favour of a smoother fuller body. But generally a decent roasty stout.

Bottled, from Hopt. Cloudy deep golden, small head. Rich aroma of marzipan and grass, notes of lingonberry. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Biscuits and grass, marzipan and hay. Fairly low bitterness. Laid back.

Hazy pale amber colour, small fizzy beige head, dissipates quickly, thin layer remains, minimal lacing. Aroma sweet malts, caramel, light nutty notes, red fruits. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, toffee, fruity, bit fizzy. Malty sweetbitter aftertaste, grainy, peppery noets. Medium body, oily texture, average carbonation, bit fizzy and rather thin, decent though.
