75cl bottle from Scrattings. Pours pale yellow, virbant carbonation. Light funky nose. Interesting full fleshy perry pear fruit, lifted by an energetic carbonation, gentle funk, light and easy-drinking, some eggy shades. Nice perry.

750ml wired cork bottle from Scrattings. 2016 Vintage. Opened with a loud pop. Amber gold colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of mellow apple, caramel, alittle funk. Taste is fleshy apple, hints of toffee, caramel, honey, slight funk, with hay, and tangy tannic notes. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tannic finish. Quite drinkable.

750ml wired cork bottle from Scrattings. On loosening the wire the cork self ejected with a loud pop! Sparkling golden colour, short-lived fizzy white foam head and aroma of mucky fruity pear. Taste is sweet, juicy mellow pear, custard, fruity with some mucky funk hints. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi-sweet finish. Quite drinkable

750ml wired cork bottle from Scrattings. When attempting to open the cork self-ejected with an extremely loud pop (many thanks to FatPhil's rating for the warning)! Sparkling pale golden colour, fizzy white foam head and aroma of funky fruity apple. Taste is sweetish, juicy apple, leathery funky, with some drying tannins. Foamy mouthfeel, light bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi-dry funky tannic finish with residual sweetness. Nicely drinkable. Very good considering the low 3% abv.

Taste is sweetish, tart fleshy apple, leathery funk, woody oak barrel, citric with drying tannins. Light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy tannic finish. Nicely drinkable.

Pours sparkling slightly hazy yellow gold colour, with large fizzy white foam head that quickly dissipates away. Aroma of tangy apple, caramel. Taste is sweetish, apple, tangy, alittle skin and pip, with hints of funk, straw and a caramel note, plus some tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-dry tannic finish.
