440ml can from Asda. Hazy gold in colour with a short-lived, white, head. Sweet, juicy, aroma of guava, pineapple and floral hops. Easy drinking, with more sweet citrus and tropical fruits, some pine depth, light malts and a dryish finish. Good.

Keg at The Bear (CBC) Paddington, 12/06/23. Hazed orange with a decent off white head. Nose is orange zest, grass, pine nip, ripe melon, grapefruit. Taste comprises juicy tropical fruits, pine needle, orange zest, melon, grapefruit, bitter sweet tropicana. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with juice laden hop bitterness. Not bad if running a touch on the sweet side.

Handpull cask at the Kings Head, Leicester. Slightly light gold, clear with a small uneven film of white head and some lacing. Light biscuity aroma, not a lot here really. Taste is sweet, touches of toffee and citrus. Nice balance with light bitterness in the finish. I want to like this but it's a challenge. A bit dull.

Keg @ Bundobust, Birmingham. Misty gold pour with a foamy white head. Light floral tropical sweet hop aroma. Gently sweet to taste with a mild hop sweetness coursing through. Ok

Saturday 13th April 2024, Bertie, Margie and I in Tamworth on a pub crawl. Hand-pulled pint in The Tamworth Tap. Clean golden body, white crust. Citrus hop aroma and taste, some piney bitterness.

Cask at Black Country Arms, Walsall. Pours a golden amber with a small off-white head and good lacing. Not much of an aroma โ just hints of floral hops and nuts. In the mouth it fluctuates between bitter and sweet with the bitterness gradually increasing. Flavours of pine, melon and tropical fruit plus traces of citrus, spice and herbs. Finish is quite ibtter and slightly dry. This is a decent pale.

On tap at the Black Isle bar, Inverness, Saturday 30th March 2024 after a fantastic few days on the Isle of Harris with Nick and Anna. Pours yolky yellow with a large white head. Nice soft mouthfeel, juicy with a large amount of tropical fruit, some passion fruit, a little mango, Loz gets orange peel band marmelade.

Cask at the Attic brewery, Stirchley. Poured a clear golden colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt. The flavour is moderate to light bitter, with a smooth, light, earthy, light herbal, woody hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with soft carbonation. Somewhat light all round. Nice, but wonโt win any prizes.
