Bottle from Asia Oriental Supermarket, Farnborough. Aroma is yer typical yeasty malty saccharine and glue lager miasma. Clear gold. Thin foamy white head. Some grainy bitterness followed by yeastie sweetness. Sour citrus into the finish. All hitting the wrong notes. There's also this element like someone's dropped a fag into the glass. Light. Thin. Fizzy carbonation. Long slightly astringent finish. Just a sickly bitter mess. Who drinks this stuff if it's not a tick?

330 ml bottle, from Green Peas, Stavanger. ABV is 4.5%. Clear pale golden colour, moderate white head. Sweetish aroma of pilsener malts, starch, grass and candy. Fizzy mouthfeel. Medium sweet flavour with the same elements as the aroma, very moderate hops.

Tall boy @ Foodmaxx Harrisonburg VA: Rice nose, fingernail polish on the edges. Crystal clear yellow, medium head, minimal retention, some lace. Very little flavor, cane sugar, rice. Light body, easy carbonation.

Unnoticeable aroma, mouthfeel was weaker than expected. A below-average lager.

Bottle from the Chinese Mini-Market on Gorgie Road, Edinburgh. Pours clear golden with no head. Aromas are metallic and sugary. Taste is more of the same. Watery finish.

Thuis uit een flesje. Nu allemaal niet zo mopperen hierop. Een fris pils met een laag percentage. Lekker voor de dorst op een warme dag. Ok, niet heel veel smaak en nasmaak. Helder geel, aardig koolzuur.

Very light, transluscent, watery and appley. Egads. Really not good at all, this one.

Golden colour, though flat, headless and a bit dull. Smells appley and meh. Light body, fizzy, a bit appley, not much else worth noting. No hop character, no malt (well, happoshu doesn't have a lot of malt anyway), and yeah, if you're going to drink generic swill this is one of the cheapest ones at any Seoul 7-11 anyway.
