17/10/2020. Bottle at the Lublin SoN beer share, from Yupp.BEER. Pours clear golden amber with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, pineapple, mango, berries, tangerine and light coconut. Medium sweetness and light bitterness. Moderate body, slightly creamy, soft carbonation. Sweet and fruity finish, good Sabro features. We liked it.

On tap at CBC, Covent Garden on 15th August 2020. Rated as a novelty ale. Hazy reddish brown with white foam and virtually no lacing. Raspberry ripple aroma. Intense tangy raspberry fruitiness in-mouth, and a finish of cream and unsweetened berry fruits. Smooth mouthfeel and a medium body. One third-of-a-pint was enough but let’s have fun every now and then!

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Soft haze on a pale gold. Pretty firm suds of clingy, white head. Looks good. Nose has quince. Lactose. Lemon pip sweets. Very ripe orange. Pink grapefruit. Taste is tart with light, sharp citrus bitterness. Lovely bit of fruity sweetness on the lips. Smooth on the palate. Bright and fine carbonation. Gets tart and refreshing. Tart bitterness to finish. Tasty gear.

Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Pours a pretty dull and lifeless, slightly muddy gold. A few loose off white bubbles for a head. To be honest I’m not going to elaborate too much here, but it smells of paper and butterscotch, and tastes and feels flabby, dull, and sickly oily. If this was homebrew it’s one of those you’d never give a bottle to anyone else.
