Can - you can taste the fucking lactose in this big time - and the hop bitterness is low, which makes the sweetness that much more obvious - tastes grainy and muddled, with indistinct hop character and apparent alcohol - although I have to say I enjoy the rusticity of the spelt here, even if the overall flavor is muddled - ditch the lactose and ferment this with a Belgian and saison yeast and you might have a winner - meh.

1 US pint can, from Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 8.5%. Murky yellow colour, moderate white head. Aroma of various citrus fruits, also hints of pineapple and pine needles. Citric mouthfeel, but soft carbonation. Flavour of grapefruit, pineapple and fairly bitter hops.

Can. Color: Cloudy golden, white head. Aroma: Hoppy, floral. Taste: Hoppy, floral hop, some honey / vanilla(?). Subtle passion fruit, stone fruit. Overripe melon. Hints of citrus fruit. Over medium body, average carbonation. Over moderate sweet, light to moderate bitterness. Mwah... Have had better beer from AT.

Can - this beer is pretty much everything I wanted it to be / sometimes you’ve had a day and you just want a hop punch to the face and enough alcohol to make you forget your troubles - this beer delivers on that on every regard - fuck your low bitterness hazy ipa - the bitterness in this beer will take you back to the days when beer drinkers weren’t afraid of such things - tangy and bitter and herbal and dank as fuck - the alcohol is well masked, but it’s presence is felt - bittersweet finish and lingering hop character - super bitter without being abrasive - kicks it old school and succeeds.
