473ml can. Jet black colour with average, frothy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Roasty, minimally bready-grainy, dark malty and minimally caramel malty aroma, hints of pumpernickel, dark caramel, a touch of treacle, dark toffee, coffee. Taste is bitter, roasty, almost a bit ashy, minimally bready-grainy, dark malty, minimally caramel malty, moderately bitter, minimally grassy, hoppy, hints of coffee, a touch of dark caramel, burnt caramel, pumpernickel; very low residual sweetness, lingering, bitter (roasty and hoppy) finish scratches at the border to metallic.
Oily texture, smooth and minimally greasy, essentially rather dry palate, medium to fine, prickly carbonation.
Nice composition, relatively meaty for a non-Imperial brew at "normal" abv level - good!

16oz can from Function NW. Hazy yellow/golden pour, sparse head. Zesty, citrusy aroma with some mild dank notes. Taste is grapefruit and pineapple, the dankness getting stronger, as well as done warming ABV.

Can from Total Wine in Arlington, VA - viscous black pour - looks a bit oily, and the texture follows suit - I’ve had previous batches of this beer and have been impressed - while this masks the alcohol well and is fairy rich, it seems to lack the depth and complexity of previous batches - some chocolate, light vinous notes, a little coffee with cream - sugary finish - nose has some nice smoke to it that does not show up in the flavor - yeah, definitely not the same, but enjoyable enough - I feel like this brewery has fallen off in the last year or so.

Thank you, Brad H!
Can to tulip.
Appearance: beautiful thick orange color in the glass with a three finger white foamy head which slid off very nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy hoppiness, sweet mangoes, pine/resin, light tones of pepper and a touch of pineapple further underneath
Flavor: moderately blends the prior mentioned aromas very nicely; subtle aftertaste of the citrusy hops; pine/resiny character and pineapple
Texture: medium bodied, good as a sipper, some smoothness but also with a little bit of hop burn; finishes somewhat smooth but with some hop grip
Overall: for the most part, it's a pretty good NEDIPA, but part of me also needs to say some of that "hop burn" needs to be cleaned up before this could be a stellar beer.

Panda at home, thanks to Mark the Bearded Avenger, 25/01/2026.
Pitch black topped with a good sized lasting khaki head.
Nose is chocolate, candied fruit rinds, molasses, light roast, toffee fudge.
Taste comprises dark malts, molasses, toasted brown sugars, caramel, chocolate, light spice balance.
Full bodied, light oily feel, drying close with a balanced rising boost.
Decent straight up impy if no Wow delivered.
