330 ml can, trade sample. ABV is 4.7%. Golden colour, pours fizzy with no lasting head. Aroma of apple juice (sweet dessert apples rather than cider apples). Light bodied, slightly watery, drier than I expected, weak apple flavour. Drinkable, but no real character.

Bottle. Close to clear in the glass, lightly sparkling and golden in color. No head, but some white bubbles on top. Clean aroma with apple juice, some apple cores and a pleasant grassy, lightly yeasty touch. It's medium bodied and dry. Not bone dry or tart, just dry. A bit heavy on the carbonation perhaps. Apple juice, yeast notes and some grass in the flavor. Some funky leathery, barnyard-ish notes show up in the very end, but very subtle. Sure a pleasant cider. Maybe a bit clean, but it's both tasteful and quenching, and downs easily. 171005

330ml can from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Fast disappearing white head, clear late straw coloured body. Minimal lacing. Mid-sweet aroma of apples. Succulent, bittersweet apples to the taste profile, citric hints far behind. Prolonged mid-dry ending. Refreshing thirst quencher. (Tromsø 26.08.2017).

500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6%. Pale golden colour, pours moderately sparkling. Aroma of sweet dessert apples and candy, hints of sweaty socks. Medium sweet flavour, notes of dessert apples rather than cider apples, but lacks a bit of freshness. Not really bad, but there are better ciders available, so this is not one I’ll buy again.

Clear golden color with a whole lot of bubbles. No head. Rich apple aroma. Medium body, and a bit to rich carbonation level. Pleasant acidity and a bit dry ending. Pure apple flavor. Maybe a bit to close to apple juice from a grocery store.

From tap at Cirkus 08.05.17 with JMD, ORH, HF and AH. Very clear and very pale golden. White head and lacing. Good cider taste, with appropirate hints of sulphur and leather. Dry and slightly astringent mouthfeel bordering to waterish. Good drinkability, but perhaps a bit bland.

Boks fra Gulating Stavanger, delt med Ovesen under mesking av ny esb: klar strågul med svært kort bruseskum. Syrlig, enkel og forfriskende drikke med god smak av norske epler, og uten den sødmen som ofte preger cider. Svært lettdrikkelig, så de slipper nok å måtte drikke (og pante) alle 30.000 boksene selv.

Can shared with JMD at HNB 19.03.17. Clear pale yellow. No head of lacing. Dry and fine taste of fresh Norwegian apples and cider. Excellent drinkability, although it is all but complex.
