330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 10%, 45 IBU. Pitch black colour, moderate tan head. Aroma of roast malts, molasses and spices, with some unfresh vomitlike hints. Sweet and roasty flavour, too much citrus, hints of vanilla and thyme. Appears unbalanced.

Flaske 330ml fra Vinmonopolet Tromsdalen. Drukket på Bergstua. Aprikosfarget. Uklar. Lavt skum som daler veldig fort. Litt lacing. God ferskenaroma. Smaken plommer & epler. Tørr fruktig ettersmak. Litt bunnfall.

Bottle at home. Has a hazy dark straw colour with a creamy light beige head. Aroma of pale malt, dry hay, white bread, floral, phenols, lemons, chlorine, alcohol and hint of pepper. The flavour has more grass, dry hay, alcohol, grassy hops and white bread. Dry ending. Has a slick and soft mouthfeel, medium to full-bodied, and a medium to heavy bitterness. Quite hoppy but tasteful. Would be great to hearty dishes.

Big white head. Hazy orange body with fast carbonation. Spicy tropical fruit and melon aroma with soft metal notes. Dry-sweet melon and tropical fruit taste with spicy notes. Fizzy, slightly sharp mouthfeel. Mid-bodied. Dry spicy soft metal aftertaste with cinnamon and brown sugar notes. Nice and interesting, but a bit too rough round the edges to be a real Belgian. (0.33l bottle, from wine monopoly, Lørenskog Triaden. Batch #47 or #147.)
