Description

hazy amber colour, moderate sized bright-beige-ish off-white head; aroma of malts, some fruits, yeast, alcohol notes and hints of vanilla (?); taste of malty-syrupy sweetness, some fruits, spiciness, some hoppy bitterness and alcohol; not among the best quadrupels...

Bottle (from saveur-biere). Pours dark amber-copper with beige-ish head. The head stays for some time. Aroma is sweet, fruits, caramel, candy, malt. Flavor is sweet and bitter, fruits, caramel, some sourness, candy, malt, yeasty. Alcohol is mostly covered by sweetness. Overall: good, bit sweet maybe, but I guess that’s expected from quad.

Bottle, courtesy of Summer Santa Benzai. An IPA with a lot of flesh to it for sure. Aroma of tropical fruits, mango and passion fruit. Heavy body over an oily texture. Thick and malty, strong backbone. Still a good drinkability. Fruity medium long finish. Nice.

Pours unclear blonde, ok white head. Smell is rather sweet aromatic, bit bitter. Taste is bitter, intense, mild aroma ( very different than the aroma-frontes scent ) , some tropical fruits, very, very mild stonefruit aspects. malty, which is very nice. OK mouthfeel, but too high carbo for me. All together, pretty good one yet again :)

Clear medium to deep amber colour, small frothy off-white head, recedes quickly, minimal lacing. Aroma sweet malts, ripe fruits, caramel, honey, brown sugar, alcohol. Taste heavy sweet and slightly bitter, malty, toffee, fruity alcohol, candy and candy sugar, spicy notes. Aftertaste dominated by sugars and alcohol with a malty undertone, full sweet finish, quite peppery and of course alcohol. Cloying mouthfeel, full body, sticky mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Complex in aroma and taste yet not completely balanced, too boozy finish.
