v.o.f. Bierbrouwerij Gebroeders Blekkenhorst. Op ambachtelijke wijze brouwen we diverse soorten speciaalbier, veelal volgens Belgische receptuur.

Perhaps the most beautiful and remote brewery in the Netherlands!
Traditionally brewed beer as it has been made for hundreds of years.

Bierbrouwerij De Pauw is not a modern beer factory full of measuring and control technology, but an old-fashioned brewery. The only tools are a watch, thermometer and scales. All Pauw beers are top-fermented, unfiltered, unpasteurised and with secondary fermentation in the bottle. We brew various types of special beer in an artisanal way, mostly according to Belgian recipes.

Bottle @ FOneFan, gusher. Clear deep amber with small off-white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel and yeast. Flavour is malt, sweet, yeast, caramel, dark fruits and phenols.

Ulfborg Scooper Smagning 2012 - Sunday Madness. Gusher. Copper with a small off-white head. Malty aroma of toffe and biscuit, with a hint of dried fruit and some yeast. Sweet yeasty and malty flavour with fruity notes

Bottle @ Mid March Tasting, Ulfborg 2012. Pours cloudy amber with a small white head. Exploded out the bottle. Dutch gusher. Nose is caramel and dirty yeast. Vegetables and rubber. Paper and weak metal. Dry end.

From trade with kimjohansen. bbf oct. 2010. tasted sep 2011. clear amber, small offwhite head. sweet caramelly and syruppy aroma. quite oxidized. flavor is malty, bitter caramelly, sort of honey sweet, herbal bitterness. strong. bitter. sweet. malty. herbal.
