Description
The O'so Brewing Company was founded in 2007 by Marc and Katina Buttera. Marc was an avid home-brewer and opened O'so after opening a home-brew supply shop known as Point Brew Supply. In 2013, O'so was declared the 2nd fastest growing brewery in the state. ​

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a hazy yellow gold with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a good amount of wheat with some grass and light citrus backing. Flavor has notes of grass and citrus with some bread and flora backing.

Sampled from the tap at GTMW 2017. Pours a hazy orange gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer. Aroma has a nice citrus note that is slightly bitter with a hint of tartness. Flavor has a strong tart citrus note with grass and a bit of grain backing.

12 ounce bottle from Brennan's Cellars, 5/11/19. Maple AND brandy? YES PLEASE! Hazy golden amber, thin fizzy tan head, fair retention. Aroma of oak, brandy, maple, stone fruit, caramel. Taste is caramel, maple, vanilla, oak, raisin, whiskey, apple-like fruit. Medium bodied, booze well hidden. Nice beer.

Keg at Mikey's in Plover, 5/3/19. Dark brown, thin tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, pine, earth, stone fruit. Taste is chocolate, roast, berries. Medium bodied, mild bitterness. Nice but a bit tame. I guess that's the point with this series?

Keg at Mikey's in Plover, 5/3/19. Clear gold, thin creamy white head, good retention. Aroma of pale doughy malt, mild tart fruits. Taste is pomegranate, raspberry, pale malt, lemon. Medium bodied, juicy, refreshing.

Keg at the brewery, 5/3/19. Hazy copper, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of toffee, caramel, cherry, earth. Taste is toffee, earth, pine, cherry, citrus. Full bodied, strong lingering bitterness but malty enough to balance. Booze peeks out a bit but well hidden. Reminds me of a big, brash American barleywine, like Arrogant Bastard.

Keg at the brewery, 5/3/19. 2016 vintage. Clear pale gold, large fizzy tan head, good retention. Aroma of coriander, brett, lemon, citrus, spice. Taste is coriander, lemon, earth, spice, thyme. Medium bodied, strongly herbal, moderate bitterness. The brett is mild. Complex and interesting.
