750ml bottle. Jet black colour with average to huge, thick, firm, frothy to creamy, moderately lasting and lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, roasty dark malty aroma, fruity notes of coffee, hints of strawberry. Taste is sweet, fruity and slightly roasty, chocolately dark malty, notes of milk chocolate, strawberry, a touch of raspberry, cherry, fruity coffee; minimally warming finish with an alcoholic touch; super soft, smooth palate.

Tap at Off Broadway. Black-brown body. Steady beige head. Pretty much nails it for a Black IPA. Chocolate, caramel. Good balance. A pinch sweet, but true to style. Good.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 20A). Bottle 35.5 cl - Batch unknown (BBF unknown). AROMA: medium to medium-high roasted malt aroma with notes of chocolate, toffee, maillard-rich. APPEARANCE: very dark amber colour and opaque with ruby highlights. medium light brown head, creamy, with medium retention and leg formation. TASTE: medium roasted malt with dark chocolate notes, slight toffee, nutiness and maillard-rich. medium bitterness in balance with the malt sweetness. finishes dry and slightly roasty. PALATE: medium body with medium carbonation. slight alcoholic warmth. OVERALL: a nice american porter.

Sampled from the tap at MKE Burger Co. Hudson. Pours black with a light brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy dark grains and light roast with a hint of pine underlying. Flavor has earthy dark grains and chalk with a growing pine bite.

750ml bottle. Hazy, yellow-ish, bright golden colour with average to huge, frothy to creamy, slowly osteoporosing, minimally lacing, snow-white head. Grassy and citrusy, hoppy aroma, notes of quince, woody yellow fruit, pineapple, herbal Sorachi overtones. Taste is pale and caramel malty, dry herbal-grassy and fruity hoppy, Hints of green apple, quince, woody pineapple, dry, minimally funky overtones, papery Sorachi herbal-woody hoppiness.
