Bottle from the dry drinker. Pours clear golden with a short-lived thin white head. Aromas of light apple and artificial sweeteners. Taste is more of the same. Light bitter finish.

Bottle that my wife got for us to turn into mulled cider (after I'd tried some, obviously!). Deep orange colour, quite fizzy. Syrupy orange Tango flavour. Some dryish cider notes do peak through to take the edge off the sweetness and make it more palatable then I feared. It was much better mulled though!

No idea why this hasn't been merged with the standard Cheddar Valley. Box @ Boathouse Cider Festival. Tastes and looks like the other one, albeit perhaps a bit thinner. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Cheddar Valley on 19 Jul 2013 at 15:52 - Score: Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5. Original review text: Pint at various public houses in the South of England. Beautifully deep orange colour, smooth medium dry blend with no carbonation. Not especially refreshing and a little tame, but still a firm favourite.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 28th November 2022: Luttrell Arms Hotel, Dunster, Somerset. It's an orange coloured cider with no head. Aroma and taste is of apples.
