22/4/2022. Draught at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours clear golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of sweet apple, caramel, brown sugar, touch of sulphur and strudel. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Medium body, oily, quite lively carbonation. Crisp, sweet finish.

22/4/2022. From BIAB at The Ale House, Chelmsford. Pours hazy dark orange with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is floral, tinned peaches, hubba bubba bubblegum, sweet apple, dairy lee triangle, slight mucky edge. Medium sweetness and light tartness. Moderate body, soft carbonation. Slightly cheesy tangy bubblegum finish. Bit odd.

# 2886; 4/2022. Green apple aroma. Brilliant straw body; white head quickly disappeared. Crispy, refreshing, sweet apples, light tarty. Very simple and very good cider. 0,5 l, green bottle, supermarket, Lincoln (Lincolnshire, England).

--Sample, thanks fonefan! -- Clear golden, no head. Aroma of ripe apples, fusels and boiled vegetables. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Peppery alcohol and ripe apples. Some apple skin bitterness. Pretty industrial.

Keg at the Anchor, Caunsall. Pours gold with a medium head. Aroma is dry, woody apple. Taste has dry woody apple with a bitter tangy finish.

[ As Thatchers Cider Barn Redstreak ].
ABV: 8.4%. Clear medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate apple, sweet apples, yellow apples. Flavor is moderate sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, tart, sweet apple, apples, yellow apples, sulfur, medium dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20220215]

500ml bottle from the Old Horse, Leicester. Light straw, close to clear with lots of visible carbonation. Sweet and vaguely appley aroma. Taste is just as sweet but it's got more personality with a touch of appleskin 'bite'. There's the makings of a good cider here but it's been overproduction to take any soul out of it.
