Thatchers cider has been made on Myrtle Farm since 1904.

Four generations dedicated to our craft. With a fifth generation waiting in the wings. There’s been a lot of change over the years. But one thing remains constant: cider making is our pride and joy.

RBESG August 2011, Royal Oak. Pale amber with a small white head. Aroma of apples, with lots of funk and wood. Sweetish apple juice flavour with slightly tart funk

Draught at Montagu Pyke, London. Strange (nice) dark orange colour. Powerfull apple aroma and flavor. Very dry. Fresh and barnyard notes. Long finish. Oily palate. Great cider.

Bottle at home. Chilled to perfection. Pours clear gold and quite bubbly, little head which vanishes almost immediately. Delicious apple flavour with a dry finish. Very easy to drink and not too alcoholic. Yum!

clear yellow, almost no head. dry apple aroma, some pear too. flavor is dry apple, faint pear, faint citrussy tinge, dry and refreshing cider, but a bit "industrial" also ends in a strangely bitter way.

Cask @ Royal Oak, London 2011. RBESG Crawl. Pours golden with bubbles on top. Sweet and fresh nose. Red apples and pear. Dry and crisp with a bit of barnyard.
