Bottle from Sainsburys drunk on train on way home from work. Some trad scrumpy aroma. Better than the Thatchers Gold I just had. This has touch more character. Touch of sweetness yes. But its fine. A pleasant apple fruit led slightly commercial cider.

On tap at Samuel Peto JDW Folkestone. Clear pure gold colour thin collar of white bubbles. Some stewed apple aroma. Bit sweet in mouth and then some acidity on the finish. Decent carbonation. Lacks a little character and is slightly too sweet but perfectly acceptable. Its a cider. Better than what you used to get in pubs mind

On tap at the Cotham Porter Stores, Bristol 29/12/10. Pale, hazy gold with moderate carbonation. Dry aroma with a hint of fruit and wood. Flavour was tart and slightly sour, with a hint of fruit and dry finish. The driest keg cider I can recall, but not particularly enjoyable.

From cask at Three Judges. Pours hazy orange with no head. Aroma is apple fruity and acidic. Mild sulphorish touch in the flavour. Slight acidic and crisp apple fruity. Ends medium dry and with a touch of sulphor.

Bottle 750ml. clear glass.Clear medium pink red color with a small to average, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy apples, red apples, sweet apples. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light light acidic with a long duration, red apples, light apple peel. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is flat to fizzy. [20101101]

75 cL bottle. Pours clear and amber with a small white head. Aroma is crisp fruity. Sweet, vague sulphorish, crisp apple and light citrusy. Ends sweet and crisp fruity. Nice and easy.

75cl bottle at County Hotel, JDW, Ashford. I’m tempted to submit the same rating as Fin as he more or less digested all my thoughts in a shorter space of time. Well it’s pink. Clear reddish pink. I mean you can’t get away from the fact that it looks like a Zinfendel Blush. Slight sweet strawberry flavour with some apple fruit flavour and if you really try some apple skin yeast flavour. In mouth, a touch empty with sweetish Rose wine fruit. But there is some dryness on the finish. Slightly sweet, just oddness. A rose wine/cider.

Cloudy, yellow. Slightly honeyish apple aroma with some sulphur-pedio action. Taste is bland apple with some acid tartness and again a little raunchy stuff.

Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a fast disappearing white head. Has a fruity tart woody apple aroma. Dry slightly tart apple flavor with some woody hints. Has a dry fruity tart woody apple finish.
