Handpump at Wenlock Arms. An unclear golden cider with no head. The aroma is sweet and dominated by apples. The flavor is sweet apply combined with an OK acidity, that runs along the sides of the tongue, and leads to a dry finish.

Bottle, picked up from supermarket Poured light golden colour some aplle on the aroma, tasted a little sweet and appley but no great shakes, fine but there are much better ciders out there.

(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 11 Aug 2007) Ok, so I’m not really a cider kinda guy, but why not finish a lovely evening at the Wenlock with a cider? Orange, reddish colour with brief white head. Fruity nose with slightly tart apple aromas (Red Delicious?). Fruity, slightly acidic taste with sweetish apple notes. Not really complex and lacking something extra, but still definitely enjoyable.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Thomas_E. Pours a clear, pale golden with a small, white head. Aroma of rum and apples. Medium body with a fairly high carbonation, lightly sweet’n’sour apple notes and then again these fantastic rum accents. Excellent. 150807

Light blond color. Evident rum aroma, with light fudge and candies. Some sweetness, some apple juice flavor, light hazelnut touch; at the end there is some lasting ripe apple; rough and not very interesting.
