Violent gushing. Murky khaki colour with floaties, tall off-white head, half-way lasting, heavy lacing. Citrus aroma, pale malt, orange, tangerine, yeast. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, grainy, light citrus, yeasty, bit coriander. Some herbal bitterness in the sweet fruity finish, medium body, watery texture, average carbonation, disappointing.

Bottle sampled at Essen Winterbier festival 2015. Appears dark brown with a small tan head. Aroma of herbs, light floral notes, malt, licorice, toffee and overripe dark fruits. Flavour is over moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Thank you! Sampled 330 ml. bottle @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. Dark brown, mocha bubbles. Nose is overly sweet, herbal, big soap, sweet spices, something spoiled. Taste is sweet spices, huge soap, rotting herbs, sugar, candy,… Sweet soapy,… Pass, Fort Lapin continues issuing nothing worthwhile.

Sampled @ Kerstbierfestival Essen 2015. Nice deep dark red color with a small to average sized beige head on top. Aroma is malts, herbs or spices, clove, cinnamon, "speculaas". Tastes the same: malts, herbs, spices, sweetish. Typical Christmas beer. 5-5-6-3-11.

Draft in Brugs Bieratelier, Dec 2015. Misty light golden pour with a wispy white head. Fairly sweet malty aroma and taste, slight herbal/spicy note or two, some late hop bitterness but not enough to get excited about. OK beer, without testing your senses to greatly.
