Sample @ Zythos’16, courtesy of and shared with the RB Belgian crew. Dorée, col fin blanc. Arôme au nez citronné, noble vert, rétro fleuri avec un relent de levure conférant un bouquet un peu ’off’. Palais offre une effervescence moyenne-haute, avec un profil fruité rappelant le kiwi, fruité vert pointe umami de champignons, note terreuse avec un houblon qui est là mais un peu trop en retrait.

Hazy artificial looking citrus, little off-white head. Sweet chemical insecticide nose, industrial, bad yeast, fizzy. Taste is chemical, rubbish, fizzy green banana, yeast, soap. Fizzy & chemical body. Nope not a fan, pass.

Hazy golden color with hardly any head. Aroma is apples, Belgian yeasts,... . Taste is apples, a bit phenolic. Sweet finish. High carbonation. Meh.

33 cl bottle. Pours hazy yellow Sybilith a small white head. Aroma is fruity, crisp hoppy. Smooth fruity, crisp hoppy. Lingering fruity and smooth fruity finish.

Trübes dunkel goldgelbes Bier mit sehr geringen weißen Schaumkrone. Geruch süß malzig, leicht würzig. Geschmack süß malzig, Gewürze, etwas Honig, leicht erhöht karbonisiert.

Clear pale blond beer, small irregular creamy white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: fruity, some banana, peaches, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: pretty bitter, nice fruity hops, quite some grapefruit, clean and crisp bitterness. Aftertaste: hoppy, bit grassy, nice citrus hops, good bitter finish. Well done.

Deep amber to brown body. Lightly brown fizzy head. Lightly malty aroma. Heavily bitter, lightly sweet flavour. Surprising for a brown beer but in a good way. To remember.

Little hazy orange to blond beer, big irregular off-white head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: fruity, peach, some citrus, floral, bit soapy. MF: soft carbon, medium body. taste: bit sourish, fruity, notes, little sweet, soapy, floral. Aftertaste: fruity, bit sourish, citrus, little bitter. Nicely balanced Belgian ales, they do exist, people!

At Kerstbierfestival 2015. Pours dark brown, OK white head. Smell is bit spiced, bitter, chocolatty. taste is mildly malty, bit bitter, sweet, not very natural, but still OK

Bottle sampled at Essen Winterbier festival 2015. Appears dark brown with a medium bubbly tan head. Aroma of herbs, veggies, caramel, toffee and overripe dark fruit. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter. Above medium bodied with soft carbonation.
