Bottle. A- Strawberry, maple, mild walnut. A- Dark red color, opaque liquid, no head. T- Strawberry, jammy, sweet, maple, honey. P- Full body, average texture. flat carbonation, syrupy finish. O- Very good stuff. Forgot to turn the bottle upright before opening so some sediment. Loads of natural sweet strawberry. Some maple and just a faint touch of walnut. Not a ton of barrel influence, but it adds complexity. Just really good stuff. One of the best meads I've had.

Mild aromas of fruit and a hint of smoke. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose, smoke and fruit come out more, add in a touch of cinnamon. Don't pick up the hops. On the sweet side. Not bad not great.

Pale yellow with a small soapy white head. Sweet and sugary with salt, citrus and a bit of tannin. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Bottle. A- Blueberry, honey, marshmallow. A- Golden purple color, clear liquid, no head. T- Blueberry, honey, alcohol. P- Medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation, slightly boozy finish. O- Nice nose but the palate is a bit harsh at times and a bit less sweet than expected. Overall, nice.

Bottle. A- Floral, prairie grass, honey. A- Yellow color, clear liquid, no head. T- Honey, floral, mild marshmallow. P- Medium body, oily texture, flat carbonation, balanced finish. O- A touch of booze harshness but a lovely wildflower honey flavor. There is indeed a marshmallow flavor as suggested from the Meadowfoam flower. Pretty solid traditional mead.

On tap at Arts and Crafts Amsterdam Ave. Pours deep red. Berry, cinnamon, floral, little smoke, little heat, lots of sweet berry. Medium body. Nicely balanced.

Dark plum red with a medium sized foamy pink white head. Sweet with strong raspberry, strawberry and a bit of currant. Very long finish. Full bodied.

Bottle. A- Light caramel, plum, honey, mild alcohol. A- Bronze color, clear liquid, no head. T- Light caramel, faint plum, mild sweetness, honey. P- Medium body, coating texture, flat carbonation, balanced finish. O- This plum was not as strong as I wanted and the barrel added a nice kiss of caramel oak flavor. Overall, well balanced just wanted more of the fruit.
